InBizz Solutions Private Limited ("we," "our," or "us") operates Tektic, a web-based business management software (the "Software"). This Privacy Policy outlines how we collect, use, disclose, and protect your information when you use our Software and related services (collectively, the "Services"). We are committed to safeguarding your privacy in compliance with the Information Technology Act, 2000, and the Information Technology (Reasonable Security Practices and Procedures and Sensitive Personal Data or Information) Rules, 2011.

By using our Services, you agree to the terms of this Privacy Policy.

1. Information We Collect

a. Information You Provide to Us

We collect information you provide directly when you:

  • Create an Account: Name, email address, phone number, business name, and billing information.
  • Contact Support: Additional details you share via email to assist you.
b. Information Collected Automatically
  • Usage Data: Information on how you interact with the Services, such as features accessed, time spent, and diagnostic data.
  • Device Information: IP address, browser type, and operating system of the device used to access the Services.
c. Customer Data

When you use Tektic to manage your business, you may input data about your customers ("Customer Data"), such as names, WhatsApp numbers, and transaction details. We process this Customer Data solely on your behalf as a data processor and do not use it for our own purposes.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

  • Provide, maintain, and improve the Services (e.g., enabling features like Prime Membership Card and WhatsApp Integration).
  • Process subscription payments and send invoices or receipts.
  • Communicate with you via email about account updates, technical notices, or support responses.
  • Analyze usage patterns to enhance the Software’s functionality.
  • Comply with legal obligations under Indian law.

Note: We do not use Customer Data for any purpose other than delivering the Services to you. We never use your data for promotion, advertising, or any other unrelated purpose.

3. Data Sharing and Disclosure

We do not share your personal information or Customer Data with third parties except:

  • Service Providers: With trusted providers (e.g., payment processors, cloud hosting services) who assist in delivering the Services, bound by confidentiality agreements.
  • Legal Requirements: When required by law, such as under court orders or to comply with the Information Technology Act, 2000.
  • Protection: To protect our rights, property, or safety, or that of our users or the public.

We do not sell, rent, or trade your information.

4. Data Security

We implement reasonable security measures, such as encryption and password-protected tools, to safeguard your information from unauthorized access or disclosure. Clients can change their passwords at any time to enhance security. However, no internet-based service can guarantee absolute security, and you are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.

5. Your Responsibilities

As a user of our Services, you are the data controller of Customer Data and are responsible for:

  • Obtaining necessary consents from your customers to collect and process their data (e.g., WhatsApp numbers via QR code scans).
  • Ensuring compliance with applicable data protection laws, including India’s IT Act and Rules.
  • Maintaining the security of your account and the Customer Data you input into Tektic.

We are not responsible for any data theft by third parties due to your failure to secure your account.

6. Payment Information

Subscription payments are processed through third-party payment gateways. We do not store sensitive payment details (e.g., credit card numbers) on our servers.

7. Data Retention

  • Account Information: Retained as long as your account is active or as required to provide the Services, unless deletion is requested.
  • Customer Data: Retained according to your settings in Tektic or until your subscription ends, subject to legal requirements.

8. Your Rights

You may:

  • Access or update your account information via the Tektic dashboard.
  • Request deletion of your personal data by contacting us, subject to legal obligations.

For Customer Data, you control its management through the Software.

9. Third-Party Services

Tektic integrates with third-party services like WhatsApp. Data shared with these services (e.g., WhatsApp numbers for messaging) is governed by their respective privacy policies. You are responsible for complying with their terms.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. You will be notified of significant changes via email or through the Software. Continued use of the Services after changes implies acceptance.
